Biography

Risaldar Badlu Singh VC was an Indian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

He served with distinction in the Indian Army during the First World War. His actions on the battlefield earned him the ultimate recognition for valor, which was awarded posthumously following his death in action.

His legacy remains a testament to the bravery of Indian soldiers serving within the Commonwealth forces during the global conflict of 1914–1918.
