Rear-Admiral Claude Congreve Dobson, VC, DSO was an English officer of the Royal Navy who was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
Dobson earned his Victoria Cross and the Distinguished Service Order during his distinguished naval career. He eventually rose to the rank of Rear-Admiral within the naval forces.
His service legacy is defined by his extraordinary bravery under fire, representing the highest standards of naval gallantry and leadership during his period of active service.
