Gobind Singh VC was an Indian soldier who served in the British Indian Army during the First World War. He held the rank of Jemadar and served in the 2nd Lancers (Gardner's Horse).
During his service in the First World War, Gobind Singh distinguished himself through extraordinary gallantry in the face of the enemy. His actions earned him the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
