Corporal Harrison Clark was an American soldier who fought in the American Civil War. Serving in the U.S. Army, Clark demonstrated exceptional bravery during one of the war's most critical engagements, the Battle of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania on 2 July 1863.
For his gallantry during the battle, Clark was later recognized with the Medal of Honor. The nation's highest military decoration was officially presented to him on 11 June 1895, cementing his place in American military history.
