Harvey May Munsell was an American soldier who served with the Union Army during the American Civil War. He held the rank of Sergeant and distinguished himself on the battlefield through exceptional bravery.
Munsell is most notable for his actions during the Battle of Gettysburg, which took place from July 1–3, 1863. Over the course of 13 separate engagements during this pivotal battle, he demonstrated remarkable courage under fire.
