Biography

Hermann Ziegner was a German-American soldier who served in the United States Army during the late 19th century, participating in both the Indian Wars and the Spanish-American War. Born in Germany, he emigrated to the United States and enlisted in the U.S. Cavalry, where he rose to the rank of First Sergeant.
