Biography
Wing Commander Hugh Gordon Malcolm, VC was a Scottish airman. He was awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces, posthumously for "valour and unswerving devotion to duty" flying light bombers in the North Africa campaign.
