John Molyneux VC was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
He served as a sergeant in the British Army. During his service, he distinguished himself on the battlefield, earning the nation's premier award for valor under fire.
In addition to his Victoria Cross, Molyneux was also recognized by foreign allies for his bravery, receiving the Belgian Croix de Guerre. His Victoria Cross is currently displayed at the Royal Fusiliers Museum, located in the Tower of London, England.
