Lewis Hall (soldier)

Lewis R. Hall was a United States Army soldier who served during World War II. Serving as a Technician Fifth Grade, Hall's extraordinary gallantry and intrepidity in action during the conflict earned him the United States military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor.

Hall served in the European theater of operations during the war, as evidenced by his campaign medals. His dedicated service and ultimate sacrifice also earned him the Purple Heart, alongside several other service and campaign medals representing his active participation in the global conflict.
