Montague Shadworth Seymour Moore

Montague Shadworth Seymour Moore VC was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He served in the British Army during his military career, reaching the rank of Major.

His exemplary service is highlighted by the receipt of two major international decorations for bravery in combat. He was awarded both the British Victoria Cross and the French Croix de Guerre for his actions.
