Noah Odell Knight was a soldier in the United States Army who served during the Korean War. Serving as a Private First Class, he demonstrated exceptional bravery and selflessness during combat operations, which ultimately cost him his life.
On November 23–24, 1951, Private First Class Knight engaged in the actions that would define his legacy. His conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty earned him the nation's highest military decoration.
