Biography

Richard George Masters VC was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He served as a Private in the British Army during his military career.

His exceptional bravery on the battlefield earned him the Victoria Cross, which is currently displayed at the New Royal Logistic Corps Museum at Worthy Down Barracks in Winchester, England. He was also a recipient of the French Croix de Guerre for his distinguished service.
