Company Sergeant-Major, British Army
William Gregg was a distinguished British soldier and a recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He served with the British Army, where he achieved the rank of Company Sergeant-Major during his military career.
