Order of Lakandula

Catalog description

The Order of Lakandula is one of the highest civilian orders of the Philippines. Established in 2003, it is awarded to Filipino and foreign citizens for outstanding political and civic merit, public service, leadership, conflict resolution, cultural exchange, and contributions to society. The order commemorates Lakandula, the last ruler of the Kingdom of Tondo, and his legacy of leadership, courage, and service to the people.
