Biography

Albert Glawinski was a United States Army soldier who received the nation's highest military decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions during the late 19th century.

Serving as a Blacksmith Private, Glawinski distinguished himself during the American Indian Wars. His gallantry in action earned him recognition from his commanders and the United States government.

His legacy remains preserved as one of the select Indian War campaigns service members to be awarded the Medal of Honor for valor under fire.
