Bernard Diamond VC was an Irish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Born in Portglenone, County Antrim, Ireland, Diamond served as a sergeant in the Indian Army. His service and actions during his military career earned him the nation's highest military decoration for valor.

His Victoria Cross is preserved and displayed at the QEII Army Memorial Museum in Waiouru, New Zealand, serving as a lasting testament to his bravery and service.
