Corporal, British Army
Charles Hull VC was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
He served as a Corporal in the British Army during the First World War. His actions earned him the prestigious Victoria Cross, which is currently on display in The Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum in Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire.
In addition to his Victoria Cross, Hull's distinguished service during the Great War was recognized by foreign allies, as evidenced by his receipt of the French Croix de Guerre.
