Harry Garnet Bedford Miner VC was a Canadian soldier who served with distinction in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. He is best remembered for his conspicuous bravery during the Battle of Amiens in August 1918, where his actions earned him the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
