James Blair (Indian Army officer)

General James Blair was a Scottish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to members of British and Commonwealth forces. He served in the Indian Army, eventually rising to the rank of General.
