Lieutenant Karamjeet Singh Judge was an Indian officer of the Indian Army who was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
He served during the Burma Campaign of World War II. During a fierce battle, he demonstrated exceptional leadership, courage, and self-sacrifice while leading his platoon under intense enemy fire.
