Michael Magner

Michael Magner was an Irish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was born in County Fermanagh, Ireland, and served as a corporal in the British Army during his military career.

His courageous actions in combat earned him the Victoria Cross, the premier award for valor in the British military. This distinguished decoration is reserved for those exhibiting extreme bravery in the presence of the enemy.

Following his military service, his legacy has been preserved internationally. His Victoria Cross medal is currently preserved and on public display at Museum Victoria, located in Carlton Gardens, Melbourne, Australia.
