Company Quartermaster Sergeant Norman Harvey VC was a British Army soldier and an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
He served bravely during his military career, showcasing exceptional gallantry that earned him the nation's highest military honor. He later re-enlisted to serve his country once more during the Second World War.
Tragically, his continued commitment to service led to him being killed in action during the conflict of World War II, leaving behind a legacy of supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.
