Brigadier General Brevet Major General, U.S. Army
Orlando Bolivar Willcox was an American soldier who served as a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War.
He achieved the rank of Brigadier General and was later brevetted as a Major General for his meritorious service. His leadership during the Civil War marked him as a key figure in the Union Army's campaigns.
In recognition of his distinguished service and actions on the battlefield, he was awarded the Medal of Honor. His legacy is also preserved in the American West, where the town of Willcox, Arizona was named in his honor.
