Colonel, U.S. Army
Colonel Robert Sheldon Scott was a soldier of the United States Army who received the Medal of Honor for actions during World War II (1939/1941-1945). He was born in Washington, D. C., and graduated later from the University of New Mexico in 1937 with a degree in English. In September 1941, Scott was drafted into the U.S. Army. After attending Officer's Candidate School he received a commission.
