Biography
Colonel William Eagleson Gordon, VC, CBE was a Scottish British Army officer and recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He is the older brother of Archibald Alexander Gordon, King's Messenger to King Albert I of Belgium.
